Why So Serious?

Ok forget about GPS, I'm getting the first phone that comes with sonar! :) pretty cool huh? if you dont know what I am talking about, you gotta watch The Dark Knight. Dont let the comic book theme fool you, even from the trailor. This is no ordinary blockbuster.



I think its very appropriate they didnt title this movie as "Batman...", because this is actually a great crime thriller riddled with twists and turns all through the movie and would stand on its own as an awesome movie without any superhero and super psychotic villains. Twice during the movie I thought the movie had reached its "conclusion" and each time Nolan throws in a new twist, each one more interesting than the previous.

The friend I dragged along with me, actually didnt want to watch it because he thought its a "comic book movie" and he never watches silly comic book movies. But when the movie was over he didnt even realize it was two and half hours long!

There is much to talk say about this great piece of work, but I'm not even going to say anything about Heath Ledger's acting here, because you'll hear about it for years to come. And I have to admit, I thought it was all hype, but no it isnt! ReelViews sums it up just right: "...The Dark Knight, a film so impressive in every significant facet that it makes one wonder why it took so long for the genre to reach this high level."

The action sequences are awesome! Particularly towards the end of the movie. I wont mention what happens to the batmobile (a transformation all its own!), but they actually destroy TWO, not one, Lamborghini Murcielago LP640.

Gotta watch it again!

A dream girl!

So you came here to read about a dream girl or see some pics of her... Hello? dude! wake up! there is no such thing as a dream girl. Dont you know that?
remember the following law of nature when considering girls:

Butttttt... I have always believed, felt, practiced and preached that the most beautiful girl in the world, is no match for a beautiful car. Sure you can draw parrallels between girls and cars in your dirty little mind, and compare the pros and cons, but I want to keep my posting at least PG13. You just cant disagree with me on it, cuz I know beautiful girls alright? do you? I photograph them for a living!

And there is no car more beautiful than Lamborghini Countach (arguably of course).



And now Lamborghini has just launched the super exclusive, just 20 cars in the world, super expensive, $1.4 million, ultrapowerul 650-hoursepower supercar Reventón! design inspired by F-22 stealth fighter, the two tonne car goes 0 to 60 mph in 3.4 secs! WOOHOO! an interesting article on it from Popular Science mag... PopSci Test Drive: Lamborghini Reventón. Most notably this dialogue between the writer/test driver and his car expert friend:

Snyder: I'm heading to drive the new Lamborghini for a day soon. You've driven a couple before, right?
JB: Yeah, they're pretty easy to drive. Why are you going?
Snyder: PopSci called yesterday and needs a review of the new Reventón.
JB: Holy ****! You're gonna drive the Reventón?!
JB: It's a really powerful car and might not be all that easy to drive. A big mid-engine means it can get loose in turns if you’re hitting them hard, so you need to be careful.
Snyder: Well, i've been mastering Opels and Fiats here in Spain all summer.
JB: Please don't die.
Snyder: I'll probably just roll around in first gear, and then if I get too worried I'll break it and get out
JB: No. Speed. But remember, don’t die.
